tenth
vote

OVERVIEW
What if We control our seat?
Direct Democracy is possible with Tenth Vote.
Tenth Vote gives us, the registered voter, the ability to directly influence our Congressional vote by dividing it into an equal number of shares. Each registered voter (myself included) receives an average of 500 shares per year to use in Tenth Vote, which is based on the approximate number of Congressional votes each year.
These shares represent your portion of our Congressional vote. You can use them whatever way you choose: one share per vote, all shares on a single vote that matters to you, spread them out across issues, transfer them to another account, or do nothing. The choice is yours; the collective vote of direct democracy is ours.
When voting in Congress, I will cast a “yea” or “nay” depending on which side holds the most shares. My personal political preference does not determine the outcome; what matters is our collective decision expressed through Tenth Vote.
Our vote is 1 of 435 in Congress. How will political parties, lobbyists, special interest groups, etc. react when they realize our vote does not default to a particular party or ideology?
This is a true power to the people moment… the question is, do we want it?
